Collectively, A Thread To Celebrate Our Kids Athletic Accomplishments

Too many people are focused on pitch count and they don't realize that even with modest pitch counts the arm still needs to be totally shut down for 6-8 weeks (as a pitcher) for rest. Even with pitch counts if you pitch for 52 weeks a year you will break down. Muscles need rest and throwing is...

Is this a program dictated by the school or something he came up with on his own?

Collectively, A Thread To Celebrate Our Kids Athletic Accomplishments

In the end the GPA won't matter. Pass the classes and actually learn the stuff. The actual grades are secondary (other than the accolades but in the grand scheme those won't be critical in real life most likely). It's tough playing a sport and keeping up with engineering curriculum. Good for...

    6 Keeper League

Depends on how many TE's are being kept with regards to Kincaid. If he can draft an equivalent TE (meaning top 10-ish) then I would rather keep Pittman over Kincaid. (Depending on starting lineup requirements).

I have actually seen this one and i just didn't get it. It was blah and I didn't care for it at all.

Vancouver CA - cool stuff to do?

I was really confused for awhile. I was racking my brain trying to figure out where Vancouver, California was.

    Swift or Picks

I would take all the pick options over Swift. I think he will be basically useless as it will be split too much to make him useful for FF. He might be flex worthy but I don't really see much more than that. I would rather take my chances on some upside picks.

1.07 Dynasty rookie pick done... 2.07

I probably rank them: Wright - I love the upside and believe he will be used. A couple fragile guys ahead of him and I think Miami will use them enough to be useful and an injury and it vaults him up quite a bit. Pearsall - This is more of a long term get (obviously). I think he will need to...

I agree but not having enough is a now problem. The too much storage is a then problem for whoever has to clean out your house when you are gone...hahaha

The “I want to retire soon” thread

I think that is a better priority than making sure there is a nest egg left for the kids. Spending the money on the kids and grandkids on vacations and outings/spending time together is a great idea and worth it for sure.

The “I want to retire soon” thread

The location should factor into your overall retirement calculations. State taxes, cost of living, etc can be significantly different for different locations. It's just one more thing to factor into your decision. If you like where you currently live (weather, friends, things to do, etc) and...

The whole NFL players in NBA debate going on...

It would be great seeing him in football pads and moving around. I agree that in the redzone he would be unstoppable (if he gets off the line).

Flying Southwest for the first time.

I have never used Early Check in or Upgraded Boarding. I have ben in the C group a handful of times and even on full flights I have never had to sit in the middle. I always choose and aisle seat and have never not gotten one. This is easy when flying solo. When flying with the family we...
