Anyone else not love the Brian Burns trade?
I've been digging deeper looking at his draft profile, stats and rankings and this guy is far from elite.
They paid him like a top 10 Edge Rusher and he is not even close to that ... probabably not even top 20.
Between him and Thibodeaux I would say...
What? If DJ started the 1st game and went 220/2/1 would you think our QB situation is solved???
I'd love to see either or both of these guys live up to their expectations
So far ...Dj has had the much better carreer in a much worse situation (see the Supporting cast article above)
Giants' Daniel Jones has had NFL's second-worst supporting cast since 2019

The more I hear and read the less I like about our 3rd and 4th round picks
3rd rd pick - CB - Phillips sounds pretty bad - poor tackler, horrendous ball skills 0 career ints and very few passes defended, bad in zone, should be better in man because of his athleticism and ability to recover -...
If Penix was the goods he probably wouldnt have lasted tilll the 8th pick
Dont forget Penix was on a loaded offense ... Great Oline and Great WRs and played 6 years of college football
He wasnt very good before being in that situation
Cousins is guaranteed $100M !!!!
The chance of him retiring and giving that up is almost as unlikely as the Falcons drafting Penix with the 8th pick in the draft
You have your qb for the next 4 years. They could have drafted him another weapon or Olineman and tried to win a Superbowl in a year or two.
They could have drafted their QB of the Future in 2025, or 2026 or 2027 or 2028
Yea this new team is terrible at value drafting theyve made that clear ... Last
When they've had high draft picks they have still somehow managed to screw things up... so fingers crossed
1 (6) - Malik Nabers, LSU WR = Grade A
2 (15) - Tyler Nubin, Minnesota S - Grade B
3 (6) - Andru Phillips, Kentucky CB - Grade C
4 (7) - Theo Johnson, Penn State TE (Giants NOW by Chat Sports, mostly Theo Johnson breakdown) Grade C-
5 (31) - Tyrone Tracy Jr., Purdue RB (UNDERDOG NFL Draft...
Like the RB pick in the 5th ... They got pretty lucky this was really the only decent RB left on the board.
The LB was the Giants typica late round throw away pick ... will be useless if he even makes the team ... best case as a special teamer
They should have drafted Milton here but of course...
