I think you did well here, though there’s a non-zero chance Bateman finally finds his groove as a FF/NFL WR. OC has been talking him up, and he’s pretty far past his injuries.

Agreed. With that context and in that format, it makes for a much more challenging league to find a replacement. I would hardly extrapolate that as a sign of the times for FF.

Yeah. That’s the perfect type of trade. Frees up a roster spot for you, gets you a mid-tier WR who can contribute, and you likely didn’t pay much for Darnold, who’s value is likely to tank the second JJM takes over.
