Amen. While we disagree on a bunch of policy stuff, it’s always fun when we find areas of strong agreement. AOC is all about AOC. Nothing more, nothing less. Her sole goal is to build and then monetize the AOC brand.In only 4 short years she went from broke-### bartender to millionaire. Even if we added up her entire salary from congress in those 4 years that does not equal a million dollars. And we're not even counting rent, bills, food, car payments, student loan payments or anything else she has to pay for.
AOC is the shiny example of a Socialist - more for me, but not for thee. But she'll continue to TELL you that she's fighting for you. She ain't. Now that she's got a taste of celebrity, power and money you really thinks she's going to give ANY of that up for you?

one has a BA in psychology, a Masters in Divinity, and a doctorate in Philosophy.
other has claimed to have most of the above, is good at fathering children he doesn’t claim, and at one point could run over people.

That’s funny, I thought for sure the running over people part was a football reference, didn’t realize Warnock literally ran over his wife’s foot

No we shouldnt. Police should believe no one until they have evidence either proving ir disproving claims.

One would assume they thought they evidence but when she was reluctant to show police her foot and medical personnel couldn't find any redness or swelling they didn't pursue it any further. If police are called to the home the only way they can resolve the issue is to check out the validity of claims being made. That's the way it works.

I've watched Herschel for about 40 years now - he's always been a super nice guy, at least publicly, but he's genuinely not smart. He also has no experience and doesn't really know what he's doing. And the conspiracy theories he talks about makes him sound crazy. Does that mean he'll be horrible at his job? Maybe - not sure but he has a long way to go to prove it either way. On policies, he'll be very red and will take up most of your standard religious positions - against abortion, I imagine he would be against gay marriage if put on record. He doesn't strike me as the type who will do much because he doesn't know what to do. He'll just be a solid GOP vote.

Can’t remember but pretty sure a congressman already in office. The question is not who is the dumbest politician ever (although I believe Herschel would do well in that category as well) but a candidate for Senator from a major political party. It’s quite specific.

Hank Johnson was House, not Senate. To be fair, the thread has kind of flipped back and forth (and might be in danger of tipping over!) between Senate only and "all politicians", but per the thread title, I don't believe Hank is eligible.

Congratulations on being the only one here to assert this. Other conservative types around here have gone with the “oh, here’s a Democrat who’s worse” argument, often confusing stupidity with ideology they don’t like, but you’re the only guy so far to offer a positive assessment about Herschel. There’s a job waiting for you in the Vikings home office.

No real concerns with him not graduating as tons of professional athletes are in that boat. Now, I do think being a Senator you need some level of education and experience - I think experience matters more but a degree would be good. I think the main issue is why did he lie about it? In that regard it reminds me of Trump - why does someone lie about something so easily refuted?
On being a deadbeat Dad - I don't have all the specifics but if it's true it's a horrible look and he's hypocritical in his stance on families and community.
I don't know if he's the worst candidate ever but he's pretty bad and there's no chance I'm voting for him.
Also, he went to UGA - should disqualify him to begin with.

I actually think Walker is the worse candidate and if I was forced to vote for one of them, it would be Warnock. I have zero tolerance for a man who doesn't support his kids, financially and with their time. I've had a couple of instances in my life where a deadbeat dad has been an issue. One was my brother who was negligent and it actually got my mother involved. The other was when my current wife had to deal with her ex from her first marriage. That guy would pull a lot of the same things that Warnock's ex-wife is claiming Warnock did in a lawsuit she filed against him in April. Like blowing off visitation at the last minute and refusing to reimburse for any medical expenses. Now I'll grant you the article I got this info from was from the Washington Free Beacon and I know their political slant but I haven't seen it disputed anywhere. I guess that's a long way of saying I wouldn't want to vote for either one.
